Andrea Hood is the Director of Operations at 4D Recovery, where she focuses on strengthening operational systems, safety, and quality assurance across programs. She brings over 10 years of experience in housing operations, including Affordable LIHTC, Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), HUD-funded programs, and transitional recovery housing. Andrea holds a Master’s degree in Human Services and is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), bringing both clinical understanding and operational expertise to her work. She is especially passionate about expanding recovery housing and ensuring that participants receive safe, high-quality services and support.

Andrea has been in recovery since 2012 and is herself a product of a transitional recovery housing program. Her personal experience makes this work deeply meaningful, and she is passionate about helping ensure that safe housing and recovery support are available to others who need it—especially young people who may not have had access to these services in the past.

Outside of work, Andrea stays active in the recovery community and enjoys giving back whenever she can. She loves being a mom, traveling, and exploring new restaurants with family and friends. She is also the proud “Grammy” to a growing pack of grandpups. 🐾
