Cody began his journey with 4D Recovery in 2015 as the organization’s first paid employee, working as a mentor, and now serves as Deputy Director, helping guide the organization’s strategy, operations, and program development.

Since joining 4D, Cody has grown alongside the organization, serving in multiple roles over the past decade and helping build many of the programs, systems, and partnerships that support 4D’s work.

Throughout that time, Cody has remained committed to expanding recovery opportunities through innovative programs, recovery housing, peer support, and the expansion of behavioral health treatment services. His work focuses on strengthening the systems and partnerships that help people access recovery support and build meaningful lives in recovery.

Cody is a person in long-term recovery himself and has been clean and sober since 2013. His lived experience fuels his passion for helping people discover recovery and build a strong recovery identity that improves their quality of life.

Cody is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II) and a Certified Recovery Mentor II (CRM II) and was honored as Leader of the Year by the Oregon Association of Addiction Professionals in 2024.

Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time outdoors riding dirt bikes and hanging out with his life partner Halley and their two dogs, Poopsi and Ladybug.
