Samai Mendoza serves as the Strategic Communications and Executive Support at 4D Recovery, where she supports the Executive Director and executive leadership team while helping strengthen the organization’s communications and outreach efforts.
Samai is deeply mission driven and inspired by the passion and dedication of the leadership team she works alongside. Being part of an organization that supports communities in need motivates her to contribute to 4D’s mission every day. Having personally experienced how addiction can affect families and communities, Samai feels honored to now be part of an organization that connects people with the support and services they need. As a bilingual team member, she is also passionate about helping Spanish speaking communities learn about and access recovery services, especially for those who may face stigma or uncertainty about where to turn for help.
Samai brings a background in education, where she supported youth often labeled as “at risk” and witnessed the importance of early intervention and prevention. This perspective continues to shape her work as 4D expands services for adolescents, young adults, and families, and she is particularly excited about growing access to services in Southwest Washington.
Outside of work, Samai is a proud mom of three boys. She spends much of her time on the sidelines of soccer fields and supporting her kids in their activities, and values staying connected to family, community, and the moments that matter most.
